The USA is installing its missiles and military bases all around Russia, some missiles are just a few miles from the border.

How would you americans react if Russia did the same?...

First, even before Russia invaded Georgia like Hitler annexed the Sudetenland and Austria, it was explained over and over and over that the missiles were not aimed at Russia but at the Middle East were nuts like the President of Iran happen to be. Russia doesn't have the ability to prove that true or false? Second, I prefer to be protected from nuts like Iran who would shoot a missile off because we happen to believe the Holocaust happened or any other crazy reason. Russia can easily be protected, too.

Putin and his puppet President are using these missile sites as an excuse to start up the cold war all over again. I guess Putin figured he had worked all those years in the KGB and he deserved his turn as premier of the Soviet Union and then Gorbachev screwed it up for him. So now he's taking it back.

Your English is a lot better than those who Putin usually puts on here to sell his case.

Might be pretty tough, speaking we have a couple of oceans surrounding us...and without Canada or Mexico's thumbs up, I don't think they'll be installing anything on those land borders.

As long as Russia isn't stupid enough to attack us, I'd be fine with it... But I know we're not going to attack Russia... there's no reason for us to do so... besides, IF we did attack, we'd help build Russia back up again.  America has nearly ALWAYS done that after a war.

The missiles in question are purely defensive and so I would have NO trouble with them installing such missiles in Cuba, Mexico, Canada or anywhere else they'd like.  These missiles DO just one thing - they prevent a missile with a nuclear war head from killing hundreds of thousands of people.

Sounds like something they'd do.  

Although I am not sure how Russia could install missiles around the US border.  They would have to invade Canada and Mexico first or send over a naval fleet to flank them on each coast.

I saw an article today with Putin saying that the US has caused the disturbance in Georgia, but I don't see how that's possible, I think he's just trying to re-direct the blame.

I am sure we would not like it. However, they are defensive missiles and Americans are not conquerors. We are doing it to protect freedom and democracy which ultimately makes the world as a whole a better place.

I think if more americans knew about this kind of thing instead of looking the other way it would not be happening. I for one do not approve of this kind of thing and if i could i would appologize. America would freak out if someone tried this with us. Once again im sorry this kind of thing is happening!
