How would you answer this question?

We are shown a diagram of electricity transmission and distribution system, and we see that heavy and light industries require 33kV and 11kV respectively, which is more than homes, which is 415V or 240V. We are asked to explain why industries need more voltage/power than homes. How would you answer it?

Also, why do some industries need less or more than certain other industries? What's the difference between heavy and light industries?

I know the obvious reason, logically, but how do you explain it on paper?

Quick question how do 33kv heavy industry uses get more power then 11kv users if in theory when the voltage is stepped down the power remains the same?
