How would you ask your girlfriend to marry you?

I just wanted to know how would you ask your girlfriend to marry you and where would it be.

my fiance did it on our anniversary.  My present to him was to treat him to Dinner at the Keg and he just dropped to his knee at dessert and propsed.  Very simple, "you know I love you and want to spend my life with you.  Will you marry me"

It was perfect, nothing special but yet everything about it was special.

Sometimes simple is the best way to go.

Although I always told him I loved the idea of being proposed to at a Blue Jays game at the Sky Dome on the jumbotron but that was SO expensive. lol.

Well it all depends on what she likes and other stuff.

I actually asked her online since for the time being we live 600 miles apart.

We play this game online every night and this is how we met so i asked her on where we met.
