How would you be able to tell if you had psychic abilities?

The best serious answer is that no person has psychic powers. The people who make such claims are frauds who make money from gullible people with such nonsense.

Can you imagine being a psychic?

If can not imagine it, then you cannot be!! - So you had better work on your imagination.

At times we all shows signs of having some sort of sixth sense, whether you call it intuition, having a premonition, strange feeling, a hunch, an impression, instinct or insight.

You may well put it down to your imagination, but then you find that what you imagined actually happened.

Of course it varies from person to person. Some people are naturally more sensitive or gifted than others.

You're able to do things the average person can't.  It does sometimes take a while to figure this out.  Like if a kid can see ghosts, he assumes everyone else can until he's with somebody and they don't see who he's talking to.  Or he tells Mom about the kid who plays with him in his room at night and she tells him to stop making stuff up.  Psychics quickly learn that they are different, and stop showing their abilities to "normal" people.  Usually there is a lot of self-doubt.  Noone likes being different.  Then they read or come into contact with someone else who has the same (or even different) psychic abilities, and they relax and accept themselves as they are.  Most use and strengthen their Gifts - after all, that's what Gifts are given for.

well it depends on what you decide on...

like if the person dreams and it comes true, then they would know because they would already know what is going to happen.

Or seeing spirits/talking to spirits...... not sure how the person would be able to tell from being crazy or psychic..

Then there is aura reading ..... person would be able to tell because they would see diff. colors over/around other peoples heads

but you could find out a lot more here... thought i'm not sure if it will help you with how one would know if they had these abilities.
