How would you become a veterinary insurance advisor?

Do you have to have veterinary experience to do it? What is the salary like? Sorry lots of questions!

  1. This is a very specific Occupation.  Do you want to insure the animals or the vet practices?

    The best way would be to approach insurers and ask about schemes, however they will want a proof of income you can offer, best way there is to contact a trade association in the vet world for some commitment.


  2. I would imagine that the emphasis is on the Insurance, but that some veterinary skills would be a bonus. You'd be a professional accountant/insurance advisor first and interested in animals second.

    It's a very specific career path to choose though. You can't guarantee that you'd get to do exactly what you wanted to do.
