How would you calculate hours for child vistation from sat 10am until sunday until 6pm?

  1. If you're doing it in the basis of Child Support I think how they actually do it is it's classified into NIGHTS stayed in the other parents care. So basically it would be 1 day a week or 2 days a fortnight or 1 day a fortnight if it's not every weekend.

    They don't usually calculate by hours, it's by nights spent. And if the child is going to stay extra time in school holidays then you need to consider that as well. Also, I think that they have a "fair time" and a "not enough time" but if its an amicable agreement, then I don't think they can do anything about it.

  2. I'd say it's technically 2 days including 1 night.

    Most places will probably do this if you look at the length of camps for instance they will say they are 5 days long. There are only 4 nights where you are actually on the camp as you go home on the fifth night.
