How would you create a video for You Tube?

How would someone go about creating a video for You tube, what type of software do you need?

I want to be able to add video, music, and pictures.

I have a bunch of Adobe programs: Adobe Acrobat, Photo shop, Life Cycle Designer, and Premier Elements. I don't know what they do although. If anyone has any recommendations please tell me what to do.
