i think you should show the hairdresser that picture to give him/her a clearer picture but otherwise a parting very much to the side and the fringe sweeping over and strats quite far back and quite long and lots of choppy layers starting quite high up my head.

That's what I would describe.

Trying to bring in a picture would be much more helpful for a hairdresser, though.
