Real music, pleasant and original with a dash of social protest and commentary. In contrast to hip hop and gangsta rap which is mostly hateful, not real music, and not original, at all.

Raggae is probably a dirivative of what was known as "Calypso" like others like Harry Belefonte and, even, Louis Farrakhan used to do. It is all from the black culture that could be traced back to drums of Africa and traditional chants.
