how would you describe a refridgerator in a complicated way besides using the wikipedia?

how would u describe the fridge usibng hard words like "an electrical appliance used for storing food."

I need to describe a fridge in the hardest way possible.

Chris, subvert means to destroy or corrupt.  Is that the right word?
