  2. Describe them as feelings.

  3. Perhaps a variety of ways--taste, sound, touch.

Red could be something hot; pink could be the taste of cotton candy; bright yellow might be the blare of a trumpet; etc.

  4. color is to the eyes as sound is to the ears. just like a symphony, different colors blend together to create something completely new and beautiful.

  5. As many have said, but would vary with the person. For example, for yellow I would take them outside to feel the warmth of the sun, I would tell them that yellow was stimulating, invigorating, & uplifting, just as the sun gave warmth & stimulated the growth of plants, so do some find it mentally invigorating. Red is passion, much like the flame. That passion can be expressed in many forms, sexual, anger, any desire. But just like the flame we must learn to control our passions so that they do not become a fire that is out of control that consumes us. You get the idea. I enjoyed the question!

    Blessings!

  6. Maybe with red, taste a strawberry or cherry. A sweet red flavored candy.

  7. None of these answers make sense. You associate yellow with the warmth of the sun because the sun is yellow. You associate cold with blue because of ice, red with hot because of fire and heat makes our skin red etc. The fact is it's impossible describe colour to someone who is blind. Just as it is impossible for us humans to visualize the fourth dimension. Our eyes have evolved to see colour. A blind person's eyes do not function properly and thus they could never visualize something they've never seen.

  8. I actually tried to describe light and color to an adult blind friend of mine.  He was sighted up until he was two years old and went blind due to a genetic disease.  He said that all of my metaphors and similies were useless to him.  Hot and cold, for example, were just plain hot and cold.  He also pointed out to me that blind people who were given sight surgically said that seeing was unlike any other experience they had ever had.

Not saying it isn't possible, just thought I'd share the experience.  Good luck!

  9. I would say its the most marvelous thing ever and I can't describe it and you should see for youself

  10. for red i would put somthing hot in ur hand when i sed blue i wud put sumthin cold in ur hand like in the movie mask

  11. It's impossible, good Q though.

  12. For the different colors, I would describe it in terms of what emotions the color usually evokes or is associated with.

For example, I would say that red is anger, passion, is agressive, is loud, and is very hot to touch.

  13. You can't like someone said color is to the eyes like sounds are to the ears. The first answer is wrong because what if they thought that red was cold and blue was hot? There is no possible way to describe a color to a blind person.

    Hope I could Help,

              Daniel

  14. I wouldn't. I don't understand how they could comprehend the concept enough to ask the question.
