  1. i live farther than the bay foster city, quiet, and ok.right next to the san mateo bridge.  there is not a lot of traffic, unless i go to 101. but i live in a small town.

  2. its expensive, gas prices are ridiculous, and there is tons of traffic. but the weather is amazing, its super diverse, and there is plenty to do.

  3. Positives: Great Weather, beautiful land, clubs, sports teams, beaches, restaurants, peers.

Negatives: Segregation, systematic racism, stereotyping, people with bad manors, too expensive.

  4. Know much more details about living in bay area at http://www.bayareavisit.com/other.html

  5. Expensive and the traffic sucks, but I love living here.  It's very diverse and there's so much going on, it's very exciting.

  6. I know it's expensive.......but I would describe it as a unique experience! Even I don't live yet in the Bay Area, I love it

  7. on the negative side it is: expensive, too many cars, no parking in the city, too many beggars on the streets.

On the positive side it is: great weather, beautiful, lots to do, wonderful state and national parks near by, the ocean, great restaurants and the good life.

  8. I live in the North Bay, in Sonoma County.  I love it, because I am within an hour of San Francisco, the incredible Pacific Ocean, the redwoods, the wine country.... There is a great diversity of people, all different nationalities and ethnic backgrounds.  There are lots of cultural opportunities - art, music, bookstores, great food...

On the downside, housing is expensive, although in the past year or 2, the value of homes has dropped drastically, and some people are currently getting bargains in real estate because other people bought at inflated prices and now owe more than their home is worth.  Traffic is a major pain, too.

But all in all, I would rather live here than anywhere else I have ever been.
