  1. The ultimate dining experience is planning to visit an intimate bistro (I enjoy French most, with a candle-lit, lite Jazz, un-invasive  atmosphere), pre-requesting a serene corner, and a "tasting" created by the Chef, having the manager/maitre d' choose a wine that would best compliment what the Chef has planned...sharing the experience with a close friend and/or lover, and having no worries about anything else for the next several hours.  Now, that would be a sweet scenario, indeed!!!

What a yummy thought that was--thanks!!!

    Good Journey!!!

  2. the ultimate dining experience....

when there's an event you know , christmas, easter....etc...

    the WHOLE family gathers around...

i mean both sides.. mom and dad's

we sit in the garden with the small fountain nearby (bel jabal)

and the long tables with all the food in the world that you can imagine

there are HUGE bowls of tabbouleh and fattoush

teta's wara2 3areesh.... the meshwe (tawou2 and kafta and la7me) and the fries.. and hommos.. and mtabbal...

    and foul ....you name it!

let's not forget the riz b chicken! and kebbe bel sayniyye!!

and the "raw" kebbe and 2asbe...

and everybody's eating and lauaghing ... the little kids running around... just pigging ourselves out...

    usually it's at lunch

but at dinner its even better... because the small fountain glows different colors and the lights are turned on medium

and the weather is really cool and nice!!!

then there's the fruits ( watermelon, peach, nectarine, cherries, apples, pears......)

the homemade cakes (teta makes) and the cheesecake (auntie makes) and all the be2lewa and candy and treats the relatives bring with them!

it's amazing! now that it's summer it's gonna happen a lot!!

especially with our relatives coming to lebanon!

it really is the ultimate dining experience!

  3. Of course it's a mixture of the three ..

  4. I know what u like Aussie ;) but don't go into the elevator with Kate when u have it lol

A good company at a food cart is better than a thousand cuisine across the world !

Ok to the real answer LOL it's a little bit of all three ;)

  5. just the cmpany

    im serious lol

if im at the best restaurant ever witht he best food with people i dont lke too much id hate it

if im at like mcdonalds with people i love to be around, id love it

so for me its just company

  6. I know just the place for that...but it's so far away...I have to buy a plane ticket etc...so I'm holding on to the thought of that experience for now

    : (

PS. @ samerdib - Aussie can write ambience like he pleases, the man is a walking dictionary, whenever I have a question about how to write something and how to spell it I go to him...trust me, the guy knows what he's talking abt...but if you still don't believe me...check out this link:

  7. Company, ambiance then the food.

My favourite thing to do is have fish and chips at the beach with my family or friends. The food is nice, the ambiance is breathtaking but the company always makes it memorable....mwah!

  8. It wuld be a mixture of all those gud things

  9. The only thing that matters is to be together------> the ambiance

(and we write ambiance with 2 A not E)--> correct your question!
