This is a very poorly worded question, but I hope you can understand what i'm asking. I feel like the saying "your a tool" is way overused, but I still don't know exactly what it means.

  1. slang tool: to be stupid, idiotic, lame, a loser, useless, a moron.

  2. a tool is someone who shows off.

  3. It means you are being an ***.

  4. Haha

"You tool" just basically means "you idiot". Like "you plank" or "you noob" or whatever.

  5. It means when someone is using you

  6. tool.. idiot ?

    lol.

  7. tools do not think, do they?

  8. i dnt know.

  9. One who lacks the mental capacity to know he is being used. A fool. A cretin.

  10. A "tool" in that context, is mostly used to describe someone that is highly conformed to a group of society, mostly at a young age. Say a "nerd" all of a sudden pops his collar wears name brand clothing, etc. etc., and starts trying to hang out with the "preps," he is pretending to be something he is not, therefore people are known to call him a "tool"

So I guess "someone pretending to be something they are not" is a common definition of "tool"

  11. well "your a tool" is basically saying "your being used by somebody" as in their abilities are being manipulated.
