How would you do a Venn Diagram on Basketball & Soccer?

do you have numbers to go with this?

ok i'll make up my own!

16 do basketball

and 20 do soccer

6 do both!

step 1) draw two overlapping circles side by side

step 2) call the left side basketball and the right soccer

step 3) put 6 (the number who do both in the middle)

step 4) take 6 from 16 (16-6=10) so ten people do just basketball. so put that number in the left hand circle

step 5) repeat on the right hand side (20-6=14) put 14 into the right hand side circle.

and you're done!

side note: if you get the numner of ones who don't do either put it outisde the circles
