  1. a bit of ambiguity.... I'll try to interpret

    for the future, if you can't do x², use x^2

    (2a⁵)³ = 8a¹⁵

    (-3xy³)⁴ = 81x⁴y¹²

    (5a³b⁴)² = 25a⁶b⁸

    (-mn⁸)³ = -m³n²⁴

    (-2x²y)³ * (5xy³)² = -8x⁶y³ * 25x²y⁵ = -200x⁸y⁸


  2. I'll get you started.  I'm going to retype some of your problems to remove ambiguity.

    the first one  (2a^5)^3 which is 2^3 (or 8) times a^15  So the answer is 8a^15

    the last part of the last one (5xy^3)^2  comes out

    25 x^2 y^6
