  1. both parents have to at least be carriers for the blue eye trait, if not actually having blue eyes themselves.

if each parent is a carrier (Bb), there's a 1/4 chance their offsping will be blue eyed (bb) and 3/4 of a chance that the offspring has brown eyes (either BB or Bb)

if one parent is a carrier and the other parent has blue eyes, half the children will have brown eyes and the other half will have blue eyes.

  2. genetics r tricky my friend, some were down the line somebody had blue eyes or brown. DUH!!

  3. If one of the parents has blue and the other brown eyes, the offspring can take after either. Or someone in the family

of either of the parents has blue or brown eyes, it can be

    in herited.
