How would you feel about buying an electric mopeds from ecopeds.com?

I'm just wondering how many people wounld be interested in buying a electric bike for a resonable price. Think of all the good things about it before you say yes or no. First it would pay for itself if you use it often. You won't have to pay for gas.

It only goes 20 mph but that kind of fast and you can go to work in it and your friends just the little areas. Another good thing is you don't need a license or insurence on it. So please give me your verdict.

It just depends on the mopeds they offered and the cost.

I've purchased 2 electric mopeds personally.  The first was from a local electric vehicles dealership, because I knew if there was a problem, they could help me with it.  The second one I bought online direct from the dealer because I had read good things about it, and it was cheaper that way.

My first moped had a 20 mph limit, which was okay for commuting, but the reason I got the second one was because I wanted a faster moped.

And in California, unless your moped has pedals, you actually do need a motorcycle license to ride it (even with a top speed of 20 mph).  I found that out the hard way, getting a ticket from a highway patrolman for not having a motorcycle license!

I would personally prefer going for an E-bike.

It's a pushbike with an electric motor. It can work perfectly without you pedalling, but if you find yourself with a flat battery, you can pedal your way home. Some models get up to 40km/h and they travel 50km on a full charge. In Australia the suppliers of these bikes cannot keep up with demand, they're that popular.

They also do not need insurance or a license and are legal to ride on the road in Australia, so long as the electric motor is 200 watts or less.
