How would you feel as an artist/connoisseur if you were suddenly blinded?

Obviously, if you're reading this, you're not blind.

And on Current TV I saw the pod about echolocation. Assuming you learned how, you could "view" sculpture.

I'd feel devestated, but I'd go on to writing more.

  1. Hmmm. Since you never know what really awaits, and unfortunate "accidents" can occur at any moment, i've given this some thought.  

    Of the 5 physical senses that certainly is the one i'd least like to lose. I suppose you could view the situation of its loss as a true master "challenge" to be dealt with in a "mature" manner; i.e. without resentment and bitterness, and as a "lesson" of great magnitude and just go on as best as possible.

    I suppose i'd attempt to handle it using that approach, at least until i discovered that it was, overall, an unacceptable burden to live life that way, and then rethink my options  :))
