How would you feel if.....? Question for the women on here?

How would you feel if you was single and gave up on winding love and you met a guy who was perfect for you but he gave up on love also. And he see you as just another heartbreaker would you give him the time of day?

I always wondered what would a woman do in this situation?

Do you mean finding love?

I would get to know him better. But if he didn't change is mind I certainly wouldn't make it a point to do it.

If he comes around cool. If not, I'll move on.

It would probably end up like one of those crappy romantic comedies in which we fall for each other, realize we're compromising our principles, break up, say "s***w the principles," and get back together.

I've never wound love before. How do you do it? Actually, I if somebody was too bitter I would lose interest.

Yes, I would give him a chance.  There's no reason not to.  But I suppose everyone's mindsets are going to be different.  But I'm the type who always has the energy to take a new chance.  Sometimes the chances won't work out.  It may hurt, but I get back up again, and a new chance always shows itself.  No reason to ever give up.

Well, a woman could walk away. Or she could see him in other than romantic terms. She could do non-threatening activities with him and see if he would become less afraid. It might work or he might be really hard to convince that he is safe with the woman.

Id give him the time of day...talking to someone has nothing to do with loving them.

but since we had both given up on love then there would be no real point in going further than maybe friends....

I have walked away from several such deals.  I often wonder about them as well.  All in all...that vibe just breeds further doubt.
