How would you find the closed-loop gain of....

The midrange open-loop gain of a certain op-amp is 120dB. Negative feedback reduces this gain by 60dB. What is the closed-loop gain? how would i answer tghis?

  1. Strange way to look at an op amp.

    open loop gain is 10^12

    gain is reduced by 10^6

    so closed loop is 12^12 / 10^6 = 10^6 or 1,000,000

    .
