How would you identify a game in writing?

what i mean is books = underline, poems = quotation

so what does games =?

  1. you don't do anything at all.  Just leave it as is.  For example, Monopoly would just be Monopoly.  You may, however, have to use that little trademark symbol, but I don't think so.


  2. To the best of my knowledge you just write the name of the game and if it's a proper name captialize the first letter.  For example when you're writing about soccer, which is a sport but it is also a game, it doesn't receive any special notation.  If you're worried that people won't realize you're talking about the game you could always say the game ______
