  1. you have to breath when you kick...if you control your breathing...your kick will surely get stronger...you control the outcome

  2. there are many exercises you can do ill list a few

sit ups-it is what is called core strength just think about it get of the computer chair for a second and pretend to kick a ball you Will see your stomach has a lot to do with it

    squats-strenght

    leg ups-strenght

    run with ankle weights

run on your toes to build calve muscles

  3. That does factor in, but not as much as you might think. A friend of mine who is a 25 year old lady who played college soccer can put as much velocity on a soccer ball as about any guy that I have seen. While she is muscular, she does not have tree trunks for legs and is about 5' 4'.

Work on timing and balance in your striking and practice striking the ball from a standing position (not stepping to it) and start from a good impact position and work backwards to extension and then reverse and follow through on kicking until you are comfortable with your technique and then add a couple of steps and start trying to increase power. Remember not to completely lock your knee and concentrate on good ankle position. Like golf, you usually strike the ball harder with a smooth accelerating swing than trying to kill it - especially if your technique is flawed in any way.

I find it best to practice from 20-30 yards from a goal so that you can see some ball flight, you cannot see mistakes well if you are too close to be able to visualize the trajectory, velocity, and spin.
