How would you know if a guy is cheating on you/lying to you?

I've been cheated on once. And I knew because he told me. He told me because the girl he cheated on me with convinced him to tell me.

k,,, when you ask where he was and he repeats your qeustion, that means he is buying time to think of an answer! if hes protective of his phone,

if he (insists) he has to work odd hours.

if when he first gets home, he jumps sraight in the shower,

Well you really wouldn't, or at least I hope you would be able to tell immediately based on how well you know the guy you are with. But if you are that concerned that may actually happen there may be a problem. Meaning that if its a concern, then just put effort into getting closer to the guy and hopefully you having thoughts of him cheating don't come around anymore.
