Ask to have the child tested for the Gifted and Talented program.  They will be given a battery of IQ and academic tests and the results of those tests will give you the answer.

Simple..

                    The gifted people will actually do the things that they're unexpeted to do.

Lets take an example of a 6 year old child taking a piano lesson. at that age as we know that it is the time to study the basic things of music. But miraculously the 6 year old child can play even a full version of classical song that was never taught by his teacher!

In other words,the gifted people are able to speed up their ability from average people.
