I'd like to paint my sky with people who know that such a question is not philosophy.

The answers you get will not, for the most part, be philosophical, though they can be quite poetic at times.

Why do people ask poetic questions and ask for critiques on their poetry--in the philosophy section? What is the logic in this?

I'm asking seriously, if you want to add an answer below your question.

Wow, I just read the answer by jegsh. Now THAT was actually metaphysically based. So let me ask you--Is that the kind of answer you were seeking, something that blew your metaphor right out of the water? Because that is the only thing philosophy can do.

I mean, it's a pretty metaphor, that is why I'm answering.

But it is poetry, and that answer I cited was not poetic. It was very objective--and blunt.

I wouldn't change a thing about the sky.  It's never the same from one moment to the next.  The greatest thing about being alive is looking up and seeing the beautiful canvas of God's ever changing painting.

Aw. I love how God already paints the sky everyday. BUT if could make ANY alteration at all, it would be to add a few more colors every now and then =)

i wouldnt' like to decide any pattern change, i love how random it is. i love looking at the sky everyday and seeing something different.

I would paint the night skies like of the northern heavens with lots of twinkling stars and the glorious colors of the magic moment of auroras!

It illuminates the night skies with mystical wonders.

Then all the living creatures may believe to see that there can be beautiful magic of lights even to those darkened skies at night,

And be sprinkled with drops of hope into one's heart!

Even to its gloomiest path.
