  1. Like my grandparents did. You put in wood heat or a stove that burns pellets or coal. Have a gas cook stove. You can even buy an gas refrigerator. Use candles or kerosene for lights at night. Or just by a propane generator to run what you need. Gas would be a good source. When you go to town you stock up. Can foods.

  2. mmm... i wouldn't lol!  maybe farm, use candlelight...that would suck!

  3. there are many amish where i live and they seem to get along just fine.

  4. I would be free of the Internet.

  5. Hunt and build a fire

  6. I would live the old fashion way, like people did in the 1700s. There is a word for it, called amish. Theres people today who live that way because they choose to. These people do not believe in modern day technology and electricity, some of which don't even use bottons for their cloths. If you look up the Twelve Tribes, you could get a general idea of what it would be like to live with little or no electricity.

  7. cow tipping

  8. I could build my barn under a high voltage electrical transmission line and hide an inductor coil in the loft.  But after a while, the power company would get suspicious and arrest me.

I could build a water wheel that rotates because of the water's current.  This could get me indoor running water and some coils of wire attached to the wheel inside some strategically placed magnets would give an electrical generator.

I could grow vegetables that attract small varmints to my garden and trap them.  I'd force them to run in a wheel attached to the coils of wire, etc. to create a varmint powered electrical generator.

  9. i dont think i could survive

id be bored and cold and hungry and uncomfortable!

  10. it's not that long ago that there was no electricity to power life as we now know it.

lighting would be candles, lanterns etc from wax or fat or oil, cooking via fire sourced with coal or wood, washing clothes and plates by hand.

farming and bartering would sustain life well enough.

read some history texts for more info.

do not forget a significant proportion of fellow humans still do not have access to electricity.

  11. As long as my allergies didn't kill me I'd totally be fine. I can garden, hunt, fish, build fires and shelters, cook over fires. I even know how to purify water and wash clothes without a washer.

    I think it'd be fun. ^_^

  12. Two acres? Not enough! I'd need a lot more.

Well, I would have to have a fire place or a place outside to build a fire, and a gun, or bow and arrow, then my love could go hunting, and I would go look around for things to eat, like leaves and grasses and such. Candles and windows would light the house... Uhm, all my furniture would be made of wood, instead of cheap plastic stuff.

My house would be a log cabin. Possibly one or two room.

I would also find a way to break the soil to make a garden for vegetables, and fruit!
