  1. Because platinum is non-magnetic, the only effect a magnetic field would have, if it were properly shaped, would be to repulse - like a maglev train.  But only if it were shaped properly.


  2. Impossible but I don't know if this would work the theory.

    Since it's a conductor of electricity It can be feasible to use the wire to make a coil to a steel core to create a magnetic field so it can be possible to attract it by an electro magnet by passing an electric current.

    The main problem is platinum expensive than gold

    Only certain metals are attracted to magnets: nickel, iron, cobalt, and their alloys.
