how do you obtain the solvent which is copper from the solution ( copper sulphate) what apparatus do you use and what is the process called?

  1. Copper sulfate is the solute.  to get it out of solution you could evaporate it.

    Use a chemical process called solvent extraction (can be advanced and tricky)


  2. The solvent in a copper sulfate solution is WATER, not copper. The only way to remove the water from the copper sulphate is to evaporate the water by heating the solution.

    If you want to revert the copper suphate back to copper, you will have to go to a series of reactions where you replace the copper atom with another metal atom.
