You have been sentenced to long long years in an isolated foreign prison cell - a one man cell.

How would you stay sane. What would you do to pass those long long hours?

  1. "Serious Questions Please"

  2. My uncle was a POW in Viet Nam for 5 1/2 years, 9 months of which he spent in a dark cell alone, one that he couldn't stand up in. He made a slide rule doing his own calculations. He wrote a speech which he later gave at the White House. He dreamed awake and almost went crazy. The first night they put another prisoner in his cell, they talked until their throats were hoarse.

Also, note the great scientist, Stephen Hawking who is imprisoned in his own body by a devastating disease. He explores the universe with his mind.

  3. I am guessing that by asking the question you are..

    A) Not Isolated in a foriegn prison cell

    B) Not thinking about any real foreign prisons (as they are rarely one bed deals)

So on that note, if you end up banged up in this 'place', pass the hours with self reflection (as to why you are there in the first place) and then invent mind games for yourself, like try and remember everyone you've ever met, inbetween that do some exercise and try and get in with the guy that brings your meals.  You'll be fine.

(You may also want to pray a little!)

  4. watch movies you have seen before with you imagination dream of being at places you like or things you like doing sing songs smile even at the wall .exercise  yoga make up your own yell out see if any other prisoners can speak english and remember you are in there for a reason so think about why you are in there and learn from being in there and vow to yourself to NEVER DO THAT EVER AGAIN

  5. Imagine!!!!

  6. Sleep load, work out. Make friends with the insects. Make them star in my own soap opera. Pretty much go mad lol!!

  7. I'd m********e a lot.

  8. "100,000,000,000 bottles of beer on the wall..."

(I bet they'd let me out by 99,999,999,000)

  9. Errm what do you enjoy doing? Get books to inspire you...write to people you know... X

  10. i would p**p everywhere

  11. Sleep loads, talk to God, sing, reminisce, see pictures in my mind, and go on journeys in my mind. Rock and sway!

Count sheep, make believe I was somewhere other, by shutting my eyes, and drifting off, I often do that, leaving my body in the process!

  12. In a foreign prison, you may not have any of the amenities of american prisons, such as cable tv, books, and other supplies. You may not have a choice as to how to pass the hours, depending on your location. Torture is common in some countries. You may need those long long hours to recuperate from your injuries. I would learn qigong or any internal martial art before going go any foreign countries. That way you can self-heal and and keep your mind and body strong.

  13. im an artist, so i'd draw or paint!

write a book about my experiences...

  14. Well I'm artisic so i would sing, doodle, write, tell myself stories and when i ran out of things to do with that i would retreat into my own mind
