How would you predict the American Dollar will compare against the British Pound in the next few months?

With the news coming out of the City and Wall Street lately, how would you say the US Dollar will value against the British Pound over the next year or so?

I predict that it will fluctuate, in fact I'd bet my house on it!

I don't think there will be any huge swings until after the first of the year.  The current administration in the US has taken a lot of steps to allow the dollar to float downward in an attempt to make American goods more competitive abroad.  I wouldn't forsee any change in that unless the party changes in the white house and there is a concerted effort to change that.  On the flip side, I think it's about as drastic a difference as is likely to happen.
