Personally I think he's alright he just needs to work on his ground skills and stamina.

  1. 2.3 out of 10  all marketing.

  2. on a scale from 1-10 i would give him a 5, he is a good brawler, but he doesnt have technique, he still doesnt know some fundamentals on brazilian jujitsue, however u spell it

  3. He's a beginner in the sport, with no professional or amature background.  He is beating people who have trained for years in this sport.

People need to give him a break because of this.

Would these same people be giving Liddell the same grief had he never had any background except whooping *** on Youtube?  Do you think they would want to put him in his first match with Rampage or Dan Henderson?

h**l no.  They would argue that he needs to grow as a competitor, given that he lacked any formal training before this.

Or course we all know what this is all about.

  4. he needs alot of work sure he can throw a dangerous punch but thompson had that fight won.... if it went to decision i wouldnt have been surprised if the judges gave kimbo the win he was supposed to knock him out in the first round but he couldnt and he landed alot of good shots but his ground game and stamina arent that good just like you said1-10 maybe a 4 or 5

  5. 3.5 (maybe a 4) out of 10.  The guy needs to work on his cardio big time.  He needs to be more refined.  Needs to learn how to execute submissions.  Needs to be more well-versed with wrestling.  Needs to learn the art of deception (i.e. - make the opponent think he's going to do something but then do something else), a skill all good MMA fighters possess.

His striking and power are decent.  He's all power and (almost) zero technique.  Boy does he have a long way to go.

*BTW, he needs to get younger - something that he can't do.

  6. Right now & based on his last fight. He is a 4. He would definitely jump up some if he had some ground game or some better jujitsu. Shoot he has Bas Rutten cornering him. He should get on the ground and learn what ground & pound is really about.

  7. He has Superman power punching, but that's it.  In a tough man competition, he murders guys, but as a MMA fighter he's about as small a fish in the pond as they come.  His opponent Saturday, was about as skilled on the ground as a quadriplegic and Kimbo had nearly no answer.  He will always have the punchers chance, but if anyone with a little BJJ training gets him on the ground, he's toast.  I'm not saying there isn't room in MMA for Kimbo, I'm saying the rest of the guys in the room will own him.

  8. I would give him a 5 because the expectation were so hi on him and he handled it well most people would have frozen up he will be twice as good the next time you see him he will be more relaxed. His only problem is he is 34 years old he can,t get much better were talking about fighting man this is a young mans sport. I am so happy to see Kimbo make some money man what are the odds that a nobody with only 2 fights would be headline a prime time event that is all god because Kimbo had been kick around his whole life now he is on top looking down and he has no talent for fighting there is nothing he does well he looks funny but other than that he looks like a deer in the head lights did any one else see Kimbo tap out just woundering he did tap out I know what I saw

  9. He's a good brawler. He needs to get in better shape and train WAY more with Bas. I think he has potential. Maybe a good fight would be Kimbo vs Liddell since they can throw. Who knows. More to come from Kimbo I'm sure.

  10. -10

  11. -4
