How would you rate my poem,

Question

While You come so near I come so far,

Romance me, my Adonai, show me Who You are.

Allow me to experience Your eloquent Glory and Grace,

Hide not from me the Power in Your righteous Face.

There is none like You, my God, my buckler-my shield,

Greater is my belonging to You than any other sheep

Of the field.

The journey, as well as, my love for You

Is timeless. This much, I konw,

Nevertheless, in my travel I can not be lost because

You're everywhere I try to go.

The lines that make it not excellent are..

my buckler, i don't exactly  get.

i get that He is the shepherd.. but it doesn't describe the depth of God's Love for us.. I dont think..

i say it was very good, but who r u talking to in this poem God or someone else that was the only thing to confuse me a little, although i hope it was about God but as a poet my self it was very good

                                What beautiful poetry it is very detailed even though it is not to long is has a strong feeling to it. It has lots of words with big meanings feels thoughtful and kindness the rhymes in the poem are the best. It has so much glory to it the poem can embrace you and show your true colors it has a touching beautiful story it makes me feel like a star good job :D
