How would you rate the Beijing Olympic Ceremony?

I've just finished watching a stunning display. It is the best Olympic ceremony I've seen in my lifetime. China spent over $300 million dollars on the opening ceremonies alone - not including any other costs. Bob Costas -who's moderated a great many Olympics - have said it the greatest he's ever seen. If you haven't seen the Olympic ceremonies, I highly recommend you catch it on youtube or replay.

If you have seen it, how would you rank this Beijing Olympic Ceremony? Which part of the Beijing Olympic Ceremony was your favorite?

  1. 10!!! Simply Stunning. Did you see the Torch? That was awesome

  2. Fantastic! Especially Yao Ming and that little kid who survived the earthquake, Lin Hao. That kid's little bald spot, and the story of how he rescued his classmates made me cry. But yeah, the fireworks, lights, flying people, and all the athletes from all over the world were pretty spectacular too. I can't remember being quite so transfixed by an olympic ceremony.

  3. On a scale of 1-10 1 being the lowest, i would say it was a 9!! i really enjoyed it! especially the end!!!

  4. the best especially those who performed, fireworks, everything, 1000x thumbs up

  5. it was a great ceremony and all so i would give it a ten but really the Olympics aren't that big of a deal. c\China should be giving that money back to the people instead of putting on some show for the world. yeah it was a cool 2 hours but the money could have gone to much needier people

  6. 10! it was really great, and it really makes me happy because we chinese(I'm Singaporean, not from China(:) people rarely get a chance to host the olympic games(:

  7. i'd give it 10/10!!! omg!! it was just BEAUTIFUL!!

  8. It's the best, and here's the re-run...

  9. it was amazing, and when we thought it could go any better, they actually surprised us with the flying runner on a scroll. Better yet, the story of that kid who survived the earthquake, he kind of stole the show :D.

Zhang Yimou proved to everybody he is not only good at directing movie blockbusters, he literally created a blockbuster on the stadium floor watched by billions of people worldwide.
