  1. 6.  I personally hate it (and yes, I have seen it)...but it was a fun show, and for a while I really enjoyed the music.  But that was before I realized that there are much better things out there. :P

The music and story are both fun, but in all honesty, they're not that good.  I hate it simply because people obsess over it and call it the "best musical ever," when it's far from the best, but it's not horrible.  I just think it's ridiculously overrated.

But if you go to see it, you will probably enjoy it.

    edit:

"People say there are better musicals, but has anything else made them think or affected them in the same way that Wicked has? It's a universal story."

Actually, there have been a lot of plays/musicals that have made me think, and Wicked was never one of them, not even when it was my favorite show.

    -Cabaret

-Les Miserables (not an amazing musical, but I still love it)

    -Fiddler on the Roof

    -West Side Story

Just to name a few.  Heck, even Disney musicals like Aladdin, Hunchback, and Pocahontas made me think more about things than Wicked did, lol.

  2. Yep 10.

    Best Musical I've seen.

  3. Some shows have are funny, but don't have heart. Some have heart, but no comedy. Wicked has both.

I've seen over 20 Broadway musicals, and in my opinion, Wicked was only topped by The Music Man, which is no longer on. So, for me, Wicked is currently the best show on Broadway.

  4. This might answer your question - it's sold out every single show, and it's been on Broadway for about five years now. So yes, it is very good. On a scale from one to ten, I'd give it a 20!

  5. I would rate it an eight.

The actors were adequate, the sets amazing!!, the plot fantastic, but it just all clicked only to a point. Something just seemed to be missing....

Overall though, one of the best shows I have ever seen!!!!

  6. It's an amazing musical. Back a few years ago, when I starred  as Elphaba in Boston Massachusetts, as soon as i got the script, i felt like i could... MELT!! [10 all the way]

  7. 10 -- i thought i was amazinggg :)
