We have a fireplace in the middle of our living room that is pretty much a huge square brick monstrosity. We don't want to cover it with tile, we would like to keep some of the brick exposed, but since the fireplace isn't placed into the wall, but sticks out of the wall we are having trouble coming up with ideas. We're kind of stuck, any ideas?

  1. I think you could still have the style you want, the sides of the fire place would have wood in panels, with the molding, as in the front. You would have to figure out how much of the brick you would want left showing, Then you could paint out the wood on the top of the fireplace to match. The photo of the fire place you want is great and it would go well with the walls, so just picture it with the sides wider and panels. Hope this helps
