doubt she would get the message she would probably think you were a secret crossdresser! also no offence but seeing a man with hairy legs in a girls silky babydoll wouldt be the greatest foreplay. Why dont you just say 'I love it when you wear...' and see if she gets the message :)

If you prance around in s**y lingerie then the last thing your wife will think is, "hum mm, I've got to wear more s**y lingerie myself".

No way!  She'll think you've gone g*y on her.  She may have a good laugh and then worry about the therapy you'll need.

If you want her to wear s**y lingerie to bed then try asking her.  Taking her out on a romantic date will work better than making a spectacle.

My first reaction would be to ask how long you have been into cross dressing! LOL But in all seriousness, it would be best if you just talked to her about it. Explain that the reason you buy her pretty things is because you think they will enhance her beauty and add a bit of spice to the bedroom. If she still is unwilling your problems are deeper than her not wearing lingerie.
