How would you reduce people who are long-term/hardcore unemploymed?

  1. Well, have you heard the phrase, Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he will feed himself.

    Most people who are in long term/hardcore unemployment fall into usually fall into 2 categories, Disabled or Leech. Obviously the disabled can't do much for them selves, and I am in favor for helping them as much as possible. That is why I like what I call Employment Darwinism. For those who are not disabled, the get only the BARE MINIMUM for living needs. No cash, no food stamps, just the BASICS. That way the only way they can live to the fashion they have become accustomed to on welfare (or the dole) is by working. If you have ever lived off of rice and bean, peanut butter sandwiches etc, you will want to start working for you living REALLY Quickly. Being a college student, that's what I found out and I'm paying for all of my schooling myself too.
