sorry if i sound so cruel, but i cant stand people like that. nobody should be treated/hurt in that way.

You don't.  You just simply go on with your life and close the door on whatever alleged friendship [friendship?  I don't think so!] was there.  Let them worry about their reputation - what little it might be, because he/she doesn't know how to be a friend without worrying what others think - and you go on and find happiness with TRUE friends that will stay by your side, no matter what.

well dont reply at all..if it would ruin their rep, then its so not worth hanging out or talking to them...that is so lame of them anyways.

"I don't want to talk to you cause you're a heartless person." Okay so that was actually a bit harsh. Twist the person's words around, and make it your own. For example, take the word heartless and turn it into something else, like "I don't want to talk to you cause I'm not interested in people like you." Okay, I'm not good with words, but try. Comebacks can be hurtful, so don't make it too harsh. =)
