How would you sell a phone??

The best way to sell anything is to have a solid understanding of your product's "features & benefits".  

Before you present your product you have to ask your prospect some questions that will tell you what is important to them. Questions like...what did you like (or not like) about your last phone? What price range did u have in mind? What features are important (not important)? and so on.  Basically narrow down the features that are important to them. Then you bring in the benefits that relate to these features, the more benefits your product has to satisfy their particular needs the easier to close. If you do this correctly the sale will close itself.

Are you looking for advice on how to actually physically sell the phone or are you looking at ways to cell phone via a medium such as print, radio or television?

If it's the former, a smile and an understanding of the phone's features and benefits is the surest way to close a deal.

If it's the latter, then the best solution is to make the product looks s**y and salable.  Of course, a strong headline, call to action, and clear directions on how to buy this phone is critical.

You would talk about the phone's features, basically the more you talk and convince the person that this is the BEST PHONE IN THE WORLD the easier it is to sell it. Talk about how megapixels the camera on it is, you know all parents and grandparents must have pictures of their children and grandchildren. Talk about if it can play music, how many music files it can hold. If it can go online, instant messengers. How good is the signal strength thats a few things to talk about.
