  1. The main computer would be the server in this case.

The server should be first configured as a domain server, and then set up to have remote login via VPN.. where you would have to configure it as the VPN server also... once the accounts are set up for the other 5 computers, they will also have to install VPN client software on there computers and given the information about how to access the domain that was initially created.  This will involved the security settings, passwords, access IP etc.

Then, over the internet the five other computers would be able to access the server via VPN, thus the secure network.

This is something that is best set up by a network Microsoft/Linux administrator with VPN experience... the instructions I gave are high level at best.   As in other post there is too much involved to place in this venue.

    Good Luck

  2. It's a big task but you need to set up a domain and have a domain controller which controls the domain, and all the other computers will log into the domain instead of just the pc.  They can all communicate with each other and there are many other possibilities.  ie Active Directory.  The list goes on.  Read up on Windows Domains.

  3. make doctors pc a vpn client and make other 5 vpn server, you need 5 public ip address........connect each pc using vpn tunneling and manage remotely!!!!very cheap compared to ISDN(telephone call) methods(telephone bill is expensive, but vpn is cheap!!!!)

  4. It would take about a month to detail this. Basically you are [probably best using a central server at one office, with the local machine connecting normally and the remote ones connecting with VPNs. A fairly serious configuration job.

  5. Go to your local Best Buy or contact the Geek Squad. They'll come out and do it for you.

It would take forever to type out all the instructions and even if you followed them it might not work right. Hire a professional.

(There's a reason they have college degrees for this kind of thing.)
