  1. It depends on the weight of the box. Your best bet is to go to post office bring your books and let them give you a box for your box they will weigh it and tell you how much it will cost Good Luck

  2. Go to the Post Office and they will help you.

    Remember, no duct tape!

  3. Well I would put them in a plastic bag first, then into the box you have chosen. Then place enough peanuts around the books so they don't rock and roll in the box.(The Post Office doesn't like noisy boxes)  The Post Office can then weigh the box and let you know what the cost will be. You didn't say what state you are in so it is difficult to help you price it out. Try out the website:

www.usps.com  and enter the zipcodes and the weight and you can get more accurate information.

  4. Why by air?  If you ship a box of books (heavy) by air, you should expect to pay a few hundred dollars. Try Greyhound Freight. Take it to a Greyhound station and it can be picked up at the nearest station in Florida. But specify that you want it to go on the "next bus out" (NBO) That way, it'll actually go on the bus with the people and get there at the same time. If you don't specify NBO it may be sent by Greyhound truck which could take a fair bit longer. Greyhound is the best combination of speed, reliability and price, imho.

  5. I would ship it media rate by the postal service.  Not super fast, but the price is reasonable.

  6. You can easily ship 2nd day air mail via UPS or the Post Office, so long as what you are shipping is small and not dangerous.
