How would you start a conversation with this guy (friend)?

Question

So me and this guy were friends then I said something really rude and we quit talking to each other. It's been awhile and I apologized a few weeks ago and I want to talk to him again. How should I go about it? Like the only way I can talk to him right now is on Myspace, Facebook or AIM. And I want to start something now before school. What should I say? Like Hey whats up? Or.. something else I don't knowww

"Hey I haven't talked to you in a while...ready for school?"  Keep it basic and if he continues with the conversation, then great!

Find a common ground. I'm sure that you know him well enough to know what he likes or doesn't like - start a conversation with that. Or you could just ask him how he's been doing, what he's been up to, stuff like that. It can never hurt to just try. Maybe call him up and see if he wants to hang out or something.

just ask him something about school for ex.. when we going back have you gotten any school paper forthe first day idk something like that.. Good Luck

Same thing happened to me.

But you should say something like this "Hey! hvn't talked to you in along time, wuts up!" It's common isn't? but when the conversation starts you gotta act like u've changed. So atleast he might forget the past.
