  2. A girl named Bella Swan moves from her mother's house in Arizona to a small town called Forks, in the Olympian Peninsula. There she gets tangled in a story of mythical roots, falling in love with a vampire and having to face the consequences.

  3. Isabella “Bella” Swan moves to the rainy town of Forks, Washington from Phoenix, Arizona to live with her father. Although Bella did not have a lot of friends in Arizona, everyone seems to be highly attracted to her, except one person in particular, Edward Cullen. He sits next to Bella in biology on her first day of school and already possesses this hatred of her. Bella doesn’t know what she did wrong to make this boy she’s never met sit as far away from her as possible and not talk to her. She passes it off as strange when for the next few days he is not in class. When he gets back he acts like nothing happened and starts up a conversation. His attitude confuses Bella. Then, throughout the next few weeks, Bella notices something strange about Edward and his four siblings. They’re all beautiful and their skin is pale and ice cold. One day, Bella then sees Edward move at an unnaturally fast speed and use extreme strength when trying to save her from a dangerous situation. He ends up moving across the whole school parking lot in a second to and crushing a van with his hand save her from the disaster that had yet to come. From that moment on she knew there was something inexplicable about these people. She ends up tricking family friend Jacob Black into telling her some old legends. After some research, she concludes that Edward and his family are vampires. After confirming this fact with Edward, the two start to spend more time together and get to know more about each other. Over time Edward and Bella fall in love. The only problem is the scent of Bella’s blood is more compelling to Edward than any other human’s blood, meaning that they have to be extremely careful to make sure Bella does not do something, like touch Edward, which could make him thirst for her blood more than absolutely tolerable. Edward slowly grows stronger and resists the smell of Bella’s blood, when a surprise guest shows up in town and tries to ruin everything Edward and Bella worked for.
