  1. By using the Lift..

  2. i'd try not to take it personally

  3. with a parachute? (Im not sure if it would open on time)

  4. wear a parachute

  5. Badly!

  6. Possibly only if you were sleepwalking or drunk.

  7. Simply, just jump right before you hit the ground.  If you time it right, you'll hit the ground softly.

  8. I have heard of people falling out of plans and landing without any marks on themselves due to them passing out and their body being totally relaxed. This means that on impact the body is more likely to absorb the impact rather than deflect it and cause damage. I suppose it is possible though your chances are pretty slim unless you do i as a stunt and have protection and a good crash mat.

  9. An 8 floor drop equals to 8*3m=24m height.

    If g=10m/s^2 and assuming free fall:

    m*g*h=.5*m*V^2

    V^2=2*g*h

    V^2=480

    V=22m/s=80Km/h

    Some lucky people can survive a collusion like this.

  10. Well, you tell me what's underneath - tarmak, snow, bushes, trees, water... it could make a difference between life and death.

    Personally, I'd prefer falling on something soft.

  11. This is theoretical, isnt it? I mean, you arent going to throw me out of an 8th floor window, are you?

    It depends on what you fall on, if you fall 8 floors onto a bouncy castle or an extremely bouncy trampoline, then i should think you wouldnt be damaged much
