  1. I think that it would be dissapointing as he would be looked at someone who tried to come back to the game but he team paid him to stay away....

  2. I agree with everyone, if Farve takes the money it would cause me to lose some respect for a guy who i thought that wanted to come back to play the game that he loves. Farve made it a point to let it be known that it wasn't about the money for him, but the love of the game. I had been on Farve's side of this whole drama ( and i still am even though he has yet to turn down this deal! )  But another thing to think about is how does this make the Pakckers look? I think that they should have welcomed Farve back with open arms!!! But at the same time i can understand that they had already made the choice to move on with the future of their team, that's fine too. But why not just trade Farve and get a future 1st, 2nd, or 3rd round draft pick to futher help the future of your team? I don't know if this is some kind of PR stunt that the Packers are trying to pull or if they really want to control what Farve does. Either way i'm sick of the whole issue and i wish that all parties involved would come to a solution of what they are gonna do. If the Packer want to move on with their franchise then good for them, if Farve wants to play football for another year or two then good for him. I just want the football season to be here already!!!!!!!

  3. That is a tough call....20 million to put aside your desire to play...meaning you have to do nothing to earn it.  Well, that would certainly cause you to re-examine the weight of your desire.

However, I would lose a bit of respect for him.  If he really wants to play so d**n bad, then he should have already rejected that offer.  All this drama only to say, "Ok, I will take the deal".  Well, that makes you wonder about his true motivations.  Maybe he is just trying to stick it to the Packers for some reason we really don't know about.

But if it is true that they asked him to come back after he officially retired and he said no....well, what exactly have they done to deserve all of this...nothing I can see.

He has made this about him just wanting to play...if he takes the buyout...you just have to wonder if that is really what all this was about.

But, how do you turn down 20 million someone is going to pay you to do NOTHING.  well, none of us would, but we aren't already rich like Brett, where we can make decisions based on principles rather than dollars..

  4. I try to not judge other peoples decisions until it becomes immoral or criminal, we all do some things that others wouldnt. ultimately I think brett doesnt do it, because I feel he truly just wants to play.

  5. i would be dissapointed in him if he takes the  walk away money.  after the last 3 weeks of  retarded drama he started  this would be a  lame sucker punch of an ending.      after he claimed he just wanted to play again  what a  douche

M night shamalamamama   thinks this is a sucky ending

  6. I would think of him as a liar because he's always said it not about the money and that he wants to play. If he takes the money he will finally show his true colors that he is one of the most dishonest and selfish players in football.

  7. he will not take the deal
