  1. My personal preference, would be in the evening as I was getting ready for bed. I would prefer to already be in bed reading and have them come in and climb on up and tell me. It's a relaxed setting, after the stress of the day is over, so minds are at ease. After talking, then I'd be able to just lay and reflect, and put everything into prespective. Hopefully wake in the morning calm, and able to just simple be there to help.

    I'd be afraid of being told during the middle of the day, because I don't think I'd react as well as I would right before bed. Everyone has their up's and down's durring the day....for me I'm most relaxed in the evening.


  2. what an odd question. I wouldn't want to find out at all but obviously if it's happened I would want to hear it from her..

    that said...I don't have a daughter I have 4 sons and I would also want to hear it from them if they got someone pregnant.

  5. Straight face to face.  I always told my daughter - to be honest.  The consequences would always be less than if there were lies and deceit involved.

  6. Right away! I would want my child to be honest and know they can tell me anything!

    If it WAS my teenage daughter I would be even more heart broken if she felt she couldn't tell me and waited....

    I would want her and the babies father to sit me down and tell me face to face and then tell me what they plan on doing about it.

  9. I would hope that the doors are open well enough that if one of my 4 daughters becomes pregnant as a teen.... that they would just tell me.
