How would you work this matrices problem?

find the value of this equation (NOTE: this is all one matrix, just couldn't find a better way to write it)

Please explain how to work this, you don't have to give me the answer or anything. I just don't know what it means by finding the value.

If you mean the value of the determinant of the matrix, multiply the top left number by the bottom right, then multiply the other two, and subtract:

3•(-2) - 7•5

-6 - 35

-41
