How you cut clip in hair extensions down to size?

Question

I got new extensions the other day (just cheap ones from a make up store) but they are like double the length of my hair!

How can i cut it shorter so that it won't look weird?

Its just a clip on but i don't want it to end up looking like a blunt cut..

please help.

it's hard to do it yourself, i think the best option would be to just bring it to a salon and have them do it; you can tell them exactly how you want it to look and how short you want it and they'll be able to do it for you, and they wont charge you much because all theyre doing is trimming it. they cut extensions all the time so they wont mess it up and you wont have to buy new ones. :]

Well i have a few suggestions...

- Hang them on a clothes line or something similar and cut them to your desired length

OR

- Get someone who has the same length of hair as you- clip them on that person and cut the extensions

OR

- Put them on yourself and ask a friend or someone you trust to cut them

OR

- Put them on and go to the hairdressers, explain to them where you want them cut and they'll do it =D

try using glue one

it will make it easier

i wear glue ones and

cut them they dont slide down

or fall out ther great
