How you ever donated something for the poor people in Africa?

The U.S. sends more than ten times the aid money to Africa that we do to India, despite these facts:

1) India is the world's largest democracy

2) India has a larger population than Africa

3) India is a U.S. ally

Why is it that Africa is always the primary recipient of aid monies when the United States has 2.1 million men in prison, millions of homeless men, and in this hemisphere, at least as many people live in squalor and poverty as do in Africa?

Comment on MJ your school take the full fee in there pocket and they DONT donate to any country but they send a circler that if you want to donate you can fill the form and staple the cash with the form and give it to your class teacher next day. But what happens the teacher give the school half of what she get and then the school donate half of what they get.

I donate money to Africa, thought about adopting a child, but the fees are astronomical, and there is a lot of red tape to get through. I know it should be difficult, but time does not permit for that right now (4 separate month long visits to Africa) hopefully in the future. I also donate to Salvation Army, Red Cross, ASPCA, and a few others, as well as time.

I guess .. not sure because the fees we pay for school they take a small percentage of each pupil and send it to africa for the poor so still not quite sure .
